Monterrey is the largest city and capital of Nuevo Leon state and head of the urban area that bears his name: Monterrey metropolitan area. The Santa Lucia is a canal or artificial river and pedestrian pathway is located in the first frame of the city of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, northeastern Mexico. The work (inspired by the Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas) was opened on 16 September 2007 by President Felipe Calderon Hinojosa, the governor of Nuevo Leon Jose Natividad Gonzalez Paras and the mayor of the city Monterrey Adalberto Madero.
